Replacing Walnut boards with Sapele (Mahogany)

In the last year, the cost of walnut has doubled and its quality has decreased. From what I've heard, the best walnut is now being used to make walnut veneer for plywood. The latest load of walnut that I bought had about 20% of waste: knots, sapwood, etc.

So, I'm going to change to Sapele wood for my Pegs and Jokers and Marbles and Jokers games. Last year, the cost of Sapele was higher than walnut. Sapele is practically identical to African Mahogany. I can't tell the difference. They look and smell the same to me. The transition will happen soon. A large load of Sapele is being shipped here now and I'm on my last few walnut boards. When I'm down to the last couple of boards, I'll make note of the fact that the walnut boards are replaced with sapele on each of the product pages that are affected: Pegs and Jokers and Marbles and Jokers.

I still have quite a few walnut Aggravation games in stock but don't know if or when I'll make more. So if you want one, get it now.

[Edit] As of Dec 11, 2014, we are sold out of walnut Aggravation games. We're sold out of maple and oak aggravation games too.
